1. Hot Toddy
Ingredients:
2 cups (475ml) whiskey
2 tablespoons maple syrup
½ lemon, juiced
2-inch piece ginger, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
3 cups (710ml) water
Preparation:
- Combine whiskey, maple syrup, lemon juice, ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water in a large pot. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce to low heat and leave for up to 30 minutes. Garnish with a lemon slice and a cinnamon stick.
2. Mulled Cider
Ingredients:
8 cups (1.75L) apple cider
12 ounces (350ml) spiced rum
3 cinnamon sticks
10 cloves
4 star anise
2 red apples, quartered
Peel of 1 orange
Preparation:
