Italian supermarket range, Sacla, has announced that it will be adding to its free from range by introducing vegan mayonnaise.
The brand’s free from is already popular among vegans as it includes vegan and gluten-free pesto. The managing director of Sacla UK, Clare Blampied hopes that the mayo will become a ‘store cupboard staple’ in both vegan and non-vegan households alike.
Sacla’s new mayonnaise also boasts being free from gluten and other top allergens whilst being ‘unbeatable, thick, creamy and indulgent…tasting like the market-leading mayonnaise.’
The product’s release comes at a time when thousands of people are signing up to participate in Veganuary, an initiative that provides people with the supports and resources they need to switch to veganism.
As veganism becomes increasingly popular in the UK, big brands are bringing out alternatives to common household products, allowing more people to make the switch without missing out on their favourite dishes. It’s even possible to get vegan cheesy pizza, and no doubt Sacla’s vegan mayo will the perfect condiment to dip those crusts in.
Sacla’s new product will be available as of this month, stocking in major supermarkets Sainsbury’s and Co-op and it will also be available on the delivery service, Ocado.
