Singer, activist, and vegan Miley Cyrus has designed this year’s Converse Pride Collection, an annual collection released by the iconic footwear brand which coincides with Pride Month. The openly pansexual star has worked with the brand to create a collection featuring sneakers and streetwear-inspired apparel sporting colorful rainbow patterns.
According to the press release, all net proceeds of the collection will benefit LGBTQAI youth community partners globally, such as the Happy Hippie Foundation, It Gets Better Project, Australia’s Minus 18, and New Zealand’s RainbowYOUTH. Like Miley, the Converse Pride Collection is vegan.
This is not the first time that Miley has teamed up with Converse to release a vegan collection. She designed last year’s Converse Pride Collection and released the vegan Converse x Miley Cyrus Collection earlier this year. Like her previous designs, all items are gender-neutral.
These fun vegan platform sneakers feature colorful rainbow layers with the classic Converse logo on one side and the logo for The Happy Hippie Foundation on the other. The foundation is Cyrus’s non-profit organization for homeless youth, LGBTQAI individuals, and other marginalized groups.
