Can peas pip ‘pork’ products to the post? Where is the plant-based movement heading? Is ‘clean’ a threat to plant-based ‘meats’? Who’s really driving the the future of our food?

These are merely a few of the major discussion points set for the conference floor at Chicago’s upcoming 3-day Food Vision USA conference.

“Food Vision is an all-inclusive event with a unique format designed to facilitate industry insight; gauge commercial opportunities, and foster business relationships for leaders in the US food, beverage and nutrition industries.”

The plant-based food movement: it’s growing by the day and more and more products are becoming available on the mainstream market. Despite this threatening animal agriculture, the rise of veganism and demand for plant-based products only continues to grow.

No one is more aware of the changes in consumer eating habits than Food Navigator who pride themselves in knowing which pies are hot across the globe. The online publication report anything from M&As to rising trends, new product launches and insider knowledge from industry experts. Looking back at some of their articles this year, we can see why they have chosen to discuss the plant based movement at their Chicago conference.

In fact, the topic is so important that it has become the focus over the full three-day food event. Held from November 13-15 at the W Hotel – Chicago, this annual conference is set to bring together major players (old and new) in the food industry to make sense of all topics concerning the future of food.

Confirmed speakers at Food Vision USA 2017 include plant based tech company, Good Food Institute and animal free gelatin company Geltor, both set to attend among the head-honcho food giants such as PepsiCo,  Tropicanaand Campbell Soup Company. See here for a full list.
