Spice Girls vegan leather ’90s Buffalo shoes are a thing and they’re here to spice up your life.
Buffalo London — the footwear brand worn by British pop group the Spice Girls back in the ’90s — has come together with Jaded London to create the coolest cruelty-free kicks around, Bustle reports.
According to Jaded, “the collection will embrace all of Buffalo’s spice girl’s history as well as Jaded’s iconic prints.”
The Jaded London x Buffalo Trainers were “inspired by global street style from East London to L.A. and Asia,” according to Buffalo.
Footwear fanatics can purchase them in four styles, all of them “deliciously chunky and seriously bold,” Bustle notes.
You can “sparkle through life,” Jaded says, with the Jaded x Buffalo black trainer style that’s decorated with rainbow glitter and neon yellow laces and seams.
A neon snake print sneaker, complete with lime glitter, is also available. Jaded names them the “shoes of your neon dreams.”
For something a little less colorful but still statement-making, the brands have launched a white snake print platform shoe with a chain strewn across the laces. Or to flaunt your wild side, you can now get Jaded’s bestselling dragon print on a pair of Buffalo trainers.
Vegan Shoes
A growing number of people are looking for ways to buy cruelty-free. Vegan shoes can help people avoid the ethical and environmental complications of animal-based leather shoes. Vegan shoes could also be more durable than leather, according to top designer Joshua Katcher, the founder of Brave GentleMan.
As a result, brands are launching sustainable, animal-free leather shoes to cater to demand. Topshop just released its first vegan shoe collection, which includes six cruelty-free leather styles.
Last year, luxury fashion brand Hugo Boss launched its first line of vegan men’s shoes, using pineapple leaf fibers to make plant-based leather.
You can purchase the Jaded x Buffalo sneakers on Jaded London’s website. The shoes will soon be available on ASOS, too.
