LIVEKINDLY is now accepting applications for its first intern program!
Do you love animals? Love vegan food? Want to help spread the word about all things vegan and plant-based? You could be our next intern! As the fastest growing vegan media publisher on the web, we’re looking to add a few tech- and vegan-savvy interns to the team to help us grow our social reach and share more content on all corners of the web.
“I get emails and calls daily from people eager to work with us in spreading the message of kindness and compassion across the web,” says Jodi Monelle, LIVEKINDLY’s founder and CEO. “But as a small startup with a limited budget, we just don’t have the capacity to hire every eager applicant. The intern program is the perfect solution: it allows us to provide a platform for passionate vegans who want to change the world.”
In just over a year, LIVEKINDLY has quickly become the go-to source for the latest breaking vegan news, stories, recipes, and videos. With more than one million monthly page views and a reach of 4 million a week on Facebook, LIVEKINDLY continues to expand its reach to a diverse and highly engaged global audience.
“What most excites me about our growth is that it’s happening in all corners of the world — we have readers in China, Dubai, India all wanting more information about adopting a cruelty-free and conscious lifestyle,” says Monelle. “To me that says our work here is just beginning.”
But we can’t do it alone. Interns will primarily support our social team working to connect with our audiences on multiple platforms. You’ll develop strong communication skills and an eye for detail as you connect with a wide global audience interested in learning more about the vegan diet and lifestyle. Whether you’re sharing content with eager audiences or helping us to answer questions for our readers, you’ll develop your own voice as well as help us to strengthen ours.
The LIVEKINDLY intern program runs in four-month increments and interns are asked to commit to 15-20 hours each week. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply here. This is a volunteer position only.
