If you’ve always wanted shimmery flawless legs like Beyoncé, Huda Beauty has the answer, and it doesn’t involve any sort of fitness plan.
The brand’s new liquid body highlight N.Y.M.P.H. (which stands for Not Your Mamas Pantyhose) — inspired by Queen Bey herself and that iconic plant-powered 2018 Coachella performance — is now on the virtual shelves.
“Whenever [Beyoncé] performs, she wears these amazing, shiny pantyhose that make her legs look even more fierce and completely flawless,” Huda Beauty says in a statement. “She’s basically the closest thing we have to a goddess! We wanted to create that Beyoncé-on-stage effect, but for the entire body!”
Look like a Shimmery Roman Goddess
Each “skin-perfecting” shade is named after a Roman goddess. Luna is the lightest shade, Aphrodite offers rich, gold tones, and Aurora is “toasty copper.”
According to Huda Beauty, N.Y.M.P.H. can be added to any part of your body where you want more shine. Distribute the formula evenly with the N.Y.M.P.H Blur & Glow Brush; the synthetic bristles will “allow for controlled application and an airbrushed finish,” notes the brand.
Despite the diva-looking legs N.Y.M.P.H. can give you, the brand notes this product was actually made by pure accident.
“This product was actually designed for the face,” it notes. “But we wanted to Huda Beauty-fy it and make it the ultimate life-proof body makeup.”
It continues, “N.Y.M.P.H. has transformative powers! It creates an insane glow that blurs imperfections and adds a stunning, sun-kissed tint to the skin. It’s transfer, sweat, and water-resistant so it’s ideal for everyday wear, the beach, festivals or poolside.”
Cruelty-free Huda Beauty
Founded by beauty blogger Huda Kattan, alongside her sisters Mona and Alya, Huda Beauty prides itself on transparency, and creating products that are “truly valuable for every makeup lover.” Kattan notes on the brand’s website, “everything Huda Beauty releases are products I use daily, and products that I invest all my time and heart into.”
Aside from its mink lashes, all of Huda Beauty’s products are cruelty-free. It offers a handful of vegan products, including the Obsessions eyeshadow palette — in Mauve, Smokey, Electric, Warm Brown, and Emerald — the Overachiever concealer, and the #FauxFilter foundation.
The N.Y.M.P.H. body highlighter is currently available online from a number of retailers including Sephora, Selfridges, and Cult Beauty. From May 17, it will launch in-stores.
