After months of teasing, Kat Von D has finally revealed snaps of her new vegan shoe line!
Kat, in addition to being an outspoken vegan and advocate for animal rights, is a self confessed shoe enthusiast with an entire closet dedicated to footwear.
“My new vegan shoe line is coming to life”, she wrote “The first round of prototypes just arrived to my house”
The Illustrated Queen, well known for her love of shockingly high heels, has been hinting that she was in cahoots with Mink Shoes (a luxury vegan brand which specialize in unique, hand made Italian footwear).
However, with the collab just speculation, Kat could well have gone rogue with an independent line of her own – we are still yet to find out.
Kat noted how she realizes that it can often be difficult to get your hands on high quality vegan leather, particularly at an affordable price range. She said that she’s “been working hard on getting these shoes perfect” and is “hoping to launch the collection at the end of the year!”
Reassuring her followers that her shoe line isn’t going to be just sky-high platforms, we are keeping our fingers (and toes crossed) that she stays true to her words by keeping the retail price down to earth too!
