ELLE, one of the world’s most influential fashion magazines, announced it will no longer promote fur in any of its 45 global publications. Angora is also ditching angora wool. The fashion house revealed it will no longer use angora wool, starting with its winter 2022 collection. Machine Gun Kelly is launching his own nail-polish line. And it’s cruelty-free and gender-inclusive.
In food news, JBS, the world’s largest meat company, is set to launch its lab-grown meat in the European market by 2024. Redefine Meat is creating meat using 3-D printed technology to mimic the texture and taste of animal meat.
And in good news for the animals, Spain has passed a new animal welfare law recognizing animals as sentient beings.
