How to Make Vegan Orange Chicken That Tastes Just Like Takeout

10-Minute Vegan Orange Chicken Stir-Fry

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

1 pack of Like Chicken Bites (fresh)
Oil for frying
2 tbsp of cornstarch
Pinch of pepper and salt
Juice and zest of 2 large, organic oranges (or a cup of good orange juice)
2 tbsp of orange marmalade
1 tbsp apple vinegar (or other)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 cm fresh ginger, minced
Chili flakes to taste
Spring onions and fresh chili for garnish, thinly sliced

Preparation:

1. In a bowl mix the corn starch, salt, and pepper. Add the Like chicken bites to the bowl and stir until all chicken bites are lightly covered in cornstarch.
2. In a skillet pan, heat cooking oil and fry the Like Chicken Bites until the corn starch coating is crispy and golden. Add garlic, ginger, and chili flakes and fry for two minutes, stirring a few times. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
3. Serve with rice and top with spin onion and fresh chili.
