The moment is finally here—the new vegan Converse x Miley Cyrus Collection has finally dropped. Miley announced the collaboration with the iconic shoe brand Converse late last year, teasing that the collection would contain lots of pink and glitter and be unisex. The Converse website describes the collection as a “mix-and-match collection for Miley fans of all ages and genders, shapes, sizes, and unique styles.”
Now live, the collection features shoes and clothing. Like Miley, the new collection is vegan, so you can rest assured knowing that you’re sporting cruelty-free fashion with your sparkly new Converse digs. The vegan star appeared on the late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night to promote the release. “Can you believe that I’m selling clothes,” Miley asked. “It almost doesn’t seem right. “
Miley explained to Jimmy how important it was to release an inclusive vegan shoe collection and told him that she designed everything, “right down to the super cute shoelaces.”
A vegan since 2014, Miley is a passionate animal rights activist who often takes to social media to promote her cruelty-free lifestyle. Earlier this month, she couldn’t keep quiet about vegan options in Washington DC and last year, she and sister Noah were awarded for their activism by animal rights organization, peta2.
