Caffe Nero Gets Vegan Society Approval on New Vegan Range

Caffe Nero have announced that their vegan range is expanding. The award-winning coffee chain have teamed up with The Vegan Society to release a variety of plant-based products.

New additions to Caffe Nero’s menu include orzo pasta, falafel with chestnuts and spiced slaw, apple and blackcurrant crumble bar, sweet potato falafel and beetroot hummus wrap.


There is also an assortment of snacks available, such as soya porridge, fruit salad, nut mixes, fruit rolls for kids, mince pies and chocolate- all 100% plant-based.

The release by Caffe Nero responds to the growing demand for vegan options. A new study shows that vegan products have seen sales triple in the past year.

UK supermarket Waitrose has increased its store space for vegan and vegetarian products by 35%. Additionally, Tesco has stated that the demand for plant-based food has increased 40% in the last year.

All Caffe Nero items that are free of animal products are labelled so by the Vegan Society. The Vegan society works towards making veganism an easily adopted and widely recognised approach to reducing animal and human suffering”.

It is a registered charity, and the oldest vegan society in the world.

Caffe Nero have recently been expanding their stores across the globe.
