Atlas Monroe, a vegan fried chicken company that impressed judges on Shark Tank, is now available in Canada. New York City has introduced Vegan Fridays in public schools, which brings plant-based meals to more than one million students in cafeterias across the city. And a recent study reveals that one-third of Brits are interested in going plant-based.
In good news for the planet and its inhabitants: A proposed California bill aims to ban the sale of single-use tobacco components, such as vape and e-cigarette products, and filters commonly found in cigarettes and cigars. And Taiwan’s duck egg industry will no longer be able to use new battery cages.
