With Autumn approaching, everyone is looking for the best places to eat with the cosiest, yummiest (carb-heavy) dishes.
Italian restaurant chain Zizzi has responded to our wishes, and on October 10th their new menu will be launched – including two new vegan pizzas.
Given that the restaurant chain was the first high-street chain to offer an alternative to dairy-cheese, and has already sold an impressive 400,000 vegan dishes this year alone, Zizzi is quickly becoming an ideal eat-out for those looking for plant-based deliciousness.
On their website it reads, “[d]ietary needs? We’re here for you!” and the new menu is certainly upholding this promise.
The two new pizzas sound amazing: you will struggle to chose between the Vegan Perreronata pizza with fire-roasted peppers, pea shoots, sun blush tomatoes and hot roquito chillies (perfect for warming your taste-buds as the weather gets colder), and the Vegan Zucca pizza made with vegan mozzarella, caramelised balsamic onions, spinach and roasted butternut squash.
But, if pizza isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of alternatives on their vegan menu, including vegan bruschetta for starters, vegan lentil ragu and the green goddess broccoli salad for mains, and vegan dessert calzone – and don’t forget the vegan wine.
Autumn isn’t looking so gloomy after all: with Zizzi’s new menu and Pizza Hut now offering vegan cheese, you won’t find it too tricky gaining those pre-Christmas pounds to keep you warm this winter!
