Orlando may have Disney World, but there’s nothing like Miami. The beachside city is an international tourist destination, but also home to a vibrant and unique culture of locals. Chill out at the beach, hang at a cool bar, or dance the night away at the latest club, all the while immersing yourself in the iconic Miami scene.

When it comes to eat, you won’t lack for quality vegan options. Vegan cuisine is hot in the city. You may just want to extend your stay to hit up all of the eateries on this list.

9 Not-To-Miss Vegan Eateries in Miami

1. The vShops

Located in Miami’s Coconut Grove, The vShops is the ultimate Miami mecca of all things plant-based. As Miami’s first vegan food hall, it is home to five vegan food concepts, with more on the way. It just opened in April of this year, so if you haven’t been to Miami in a few months, this is one to place to put at the top of your list. Current vendors include Choices Vegan Cafe, Next Generation Pizza, Southern Sol Garden BBQ, Ice Cream Parlor, and Neo’s Blender. No matter what you’re in the mood for, The vShops are sure to satisfy.

2.  L’Artisane Creative Bakery

A vegan French bakery on Miami Beach? Yes, it does exist! This quaint patisserie replicates the traditional bakery foods of France, inspired by founder Chef Carolina Molea’s many trips to the country. Dissatisfied with the distinct lack of veganized French food, Molea embarked on her own entrepreneurial culinary journey; L’Artisane Creative Bakery opened its doors this March. Grab a small bite such as a plant-based quiche, or dine in for lunch – the cafe has an impressive savory menu. Take home a pain au chocolate and a diplomat mille-feuille for dessert.

3. Chef Chloe and the Vegan Cafe

After leaving her first concept behind, Chef Chloe Coscarelli is back in action at her new fast-casual eatery in the chic St. Roch Market. The menu features everything we love about Chef Coscarelli’s cooking – it’s fresh, bold, familiar, and incredibly delicious. Think of colorful plant-based Butternut Nachos, Miami Mango Salad, and plenty of freshly baked cookies, cakes, and pastries.

“It so wonderful to feed people in person. It’s been a lot of fun getting to know the people of Miami and cook for them and feed them and get to see their reactions,” Coscarelli told LIVEKINDLY. “For me, that’s the most rewarding part.”

4. Ali’s Sweet Treats

This bakery underwent a vegan transformation this year; it ditched the butter and eggs to become a completely vegan business vegan concept. From gluten-free strawberry cupcakes to entertaining shark-themed cakes or custom photo-printed baked goods, there’s something for everyone and every occasion. Everything is handmade, can be made-to-order, and even delivered if you’re battling the Miami traffic and craving a sweet morsel en route to the beach. Beyond its gorgeous cake, cookie, and cupcake creations, Ali’s also makes giant cookie cakes – a vegan homage to the frosting-coated monster chocolate chip cookies of the iconic Mrs. Fields.

Stop by CombinAsian for plant-based rolls and ‘big bowls.’ The Asian-inspired fast-casual spot places on emphasis on its unique sushi burritos and giant veggie bowls. The dishes lean toward Korean and Japanese influences, featuring plenty of kimchi and other banchan, japchae, and of course, sushi-style burritos packed with white rice and a medley of veggies, tofu, and spicy sauces. This is a stellar spot for both a quick, nourishing, delicious, and satisfying meal that will keep you full the entire night – no matter how late you party.
