Updated May 17, 2019. Craving a big, juicy burger? The Beyond Burger, an incredibly meat-like vegan patty, is made to satisfy those cravings. The burger is said to look, cook, taste, and mimic the texture of a beef patty. Due to its unique blend of plant-based ingredients, including pea protein, potato starch and coconut oil, the burger has a massive fan base of both vegans and self-proclaimed carnivores.
The Beyond Burger is the first plant-based meat to be sold in the supermarket meat section, revolutionizing grocery shelves when it debuted in 2016. The burgers are widely distributed in markets across the U.S., but the company has also partnered with over 2,000 restaurants who create their own renditions of the classic hamburger using this plant-based patty.
The El Segundo, California-based startup has also partnered with multiple restaurants to offer other products from its range. It’s now possible to enjoy tacos, breakfast muffins, and hot dogs, thanks to the company branching out from its Beyond Burger.
From national chains to independent franchises, find out where you can sink your teeth into a restaurant-quality Beyond Burger across the U.S.
U.S. Restaurant Chains That Serve the Beyond Burger
1. Next Level Burger
What was first a quaint Oregon eatery is now a successful burger chain, no doubt thanks to the addition of the Beyond Burger. The menu offers a range of unique burgers, all which can include the Beyond Burger. The Classic includes tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and egg-free mayo on an organic whole wheat bun. However, you can also modify with extras, such as tempeh bacon, mushrooms, roasted garlic, guacamole, jalapenos, and avocado. Let your imagination go to the “next level.”

3. TGI Fridays
TGI Fridays serves the Beyond Burger in nearly 500 of its U.S. restaurants. The burger became a permanent item on the menu following a successful two month trial period in 2017. The chain offers the patty with white cheddar, red onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and Friday’s sauce. Skip the cheese and sauce to keep it vegan, and avoid the gluten-free bun option (it contains dairy). Want more? Order the warm pretzels (no bacon, cheese, or butter) or the seasoned or sweet potato fries.

10. A&W
The Beyond Burger is such a hit that A&W rolled it out across its 925 Canadian locations last summer.
The chain credited changes such as introducing the Beyond Burger to its menu for its fourth quarter success at the end of last year. Figures published by the company showed that same-store sales grew by nearly 10%.
The U.S. branch of the company is now considering a wider rollout across the country. The burger is only available in the U.S. at selected locations, but the chain confirmed to LIVEKINDLY that it would be discussing an American rollout at its next Board meeting.

11. Hamburger Mary’s
It may feel wrong to many that a chain with hamburger in its name should offer meatless meat, however in a Facebook post from 2017, the chain’s West Hollywood branch announced it would include the Beyond Burger on its menu. Since then, all of its locations have made the step and now offer the Beyond Burger patty on their menus.
As the website claims, it isn’t a traditional franchise, so although most items should be the same there may be some differentiation between venues. Find your local restaurant here.
12. Showmar’s
Though not strictly a burger, the Beyond Meat patty is available at Showmar’s. The chain offers a less full on rendition to customers in the greater Charlotte area. It serves the burger wrapped in a soft pita with hummus, lettuce and red onion.

13. Luna Grill
The Mediterranean restaurant chain added the Beyond Burger to its locations across California and Texas.
As well as its eclectic mix of vegan sides, which range from hummus to quinoa tabbouleh, the vegetarian Beyond Burger can be made vegan by removing the spicy feta, switching the brioche bun for pita, and requesting no butter. It includes standard burger toppings such as grilled onions, lettuce and tomato.

14. Cody’s Original Roadhouse – Florida
Cody’s Original Roadhouse puts an emphasis on serving “Just Plain Good Food”. According to the chain’s website it was founded in 1994 as a “throwback to the comfortable family eateries that grew by the side of the road before the great highway expansion of the late 50’s.”
The Beyond Meat Burger is the only vegetarian option on Cody’s burger menu. Though the menu option includes provolone cheese, this can be removed to make the burger vegan. With 13 principal locations across Florida, it shouldn’t be difficult to find one nearby to stop off at!

15. Tipsy Turtle – Pennsylvania
Though smaller than some of the other in the list, Tipsy Turtle is one business paving the way in the Keystone State. With just three branches, diners may not expect a huge variety of vegan options available, however, this isn’t the case.
Not only do they serve the vegan Beyond Burger, but diners can also enjoy a vegan version of their Turtle Bites. Made from soy and pea protein, the bites can be paired with any of the numerous vegan wing sauces.
The restaurant website also lists vegetarian options that can be made vegan-friendly, and the modifications required, so diners can arrive fully prepared to order their favorites.

16. Black Bear Diner
Over 130 locations in 13 different states mean diners have plenty of choice of where to find a Black Bear Diner.
As with the other burgers on the menu, the Beyond Burger comes with a choice of sides, the vegan options including fries, sweet potato fries and green salad. Simply order the burger without the brioche bun, mayonnaise and Thousand Island dressing.

17. Carl’s Junior
Introduced to the menu in January, Carl’s Junior represented the first U.S. fast-food debut for the Beyond Meat Burger.
The patty perfectly stands up to the Carl’s Jr charbroil, and makes a great addition to the menu in the Beyond Famous Star Burger. Though served with dairy cheese, this can be removed along with the mayonnaise included to make it vegan-friendly.
The burger is also served with onions, lettuce, tomato and dill pickle. Find the nearest restaurant here.
18. Disney Theme Parks
Though not widespread across all Disney locations, a select few restaurants seem to be knowledgeable about the meatless patty and are happy to substitute it in. Disney seems hesitant to label the burger as the Beyond Burger, with many locations including it on their menus under the name “Vegan Burger” or “Vegetarian Burger.”
The blog Vegan Disney World reports that the Beyond Burger is available at The Geyser Point Bar & Grill, as well as at the Roaring Fork. The blog also reports that, although the bun has been altered and now includes honey, the Beyond Burger patty is also available at Liberty Inn. All three are found at the Orlando Disney World Resort.
19. Del Taco
Del Taco recently announced it would be including Beyond Meat Ground Beef, rather than the Beyond Burger across its restaurants, meaning any item on the menu can be made vegan. The launch follows a trial of the Beyond Tacos food option at five locations in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties as well as a “big chunk” of San Diego County, Daily News says. The partnership marks the first time the meatless crumble has been offered by a restaurant.
Del Taco will offer two dedicated options for its Beyond Meat dishes. The vegan Beyond Avocado Taco features Beyond Meat crumbles layered with crisp lettuce, diced tomatoes, and hand-sliced avocado in a crispy corn shell or soft tortilla. The vegetarian Beyond Taco serves the meatless crumbles with dairy cheese instead of avocado.
Customers have the option of swapping out animal-based meat in favor of the Beyond Meat crumbles in any of the restaurant’s existing dishes including burritos, fries, and nachos.
